I recently purchased a N6.0 that is set up as an express, and I am thinking that i may need to build a curved track system for it. I think I may eventually make a wood one, maby cover it with glass.
Has anyone tried to curve the extruded travler track? I mean on purpose? If so, any suggestions would be welcome. I would like to use the track that is atttached to the front beam if possible.

not knowing the extrusion in question but

i suspect that if it is alloy and you heated it up and bent it that the outer side might stretch ok but that the inner would end up with compression? lumps in it that would make the track too bumpy to be used...
