Four races were sailed today in 10-14 knots of SE breeze on Choctawhatchee Bay. All four races in the 42 boat fleet were won by Lars Guck of Bristol, RI. Matt Struble (Bay City, MI) and Pete Melvin (Newport Beach, CA) are in 2nd and 3rd overall followed by Andrew Gaynor (Bristol, RI) and Bob Hodges (Covington, LA).

Tom Garner and his Fort Walton YC race management team did an excellent job today. The lines and courses were square and the courses were just the right length for the wind strength (1.5 mile WL, two laps, about 45-50 minute races).

Forecast calls for same direction tomorrow but less pressure, expecting three races will be sailed.

What interesting is to know is who is sailing on what type of A-cat. Does somebody know this.
