A great time was had by all! Despite the threatening tropical system, we had 33 registered boats enjoy the new club. Check out the results at
www.osyc.com (under the racing information tab). Saturday's winds required a shortening of the course. I was running with spin in the high teens and low 20's and most of the fleet experienced interesting capsizes, what a blast. Sunday was solid as well. Duly Chaltain on his newly invogorated P19 "Dragon Slayer" smoked the 22 mile Dear Island Race and won the Inaguaral "Round Dear" perpetual (fastest corrected time).
The Saturday night raffle and door prizes seemed to be a big hit as well. Hope to see everyone at the Horn Island Hop (July 4-5). I'll get the NOR up this week.
