This coming weekend is the first regatta of the season put on by the Catamaran Racing Association of Michigan. Higgins lake is a large lake in the northern lower peninsula, roughly 9900 acres, with beautiful clear water. It is located about 200 miles Northwest of Detroit and 350 miles Northeast of Chicago.

We camp, rig, and launch at South Higgins Lake State Park at the south end of the Lake. We are expecting fleets in F17s, F18s, and open class. If you are in the area and looking for a place to sail and find out about catamaran racing, we hope you'll come out and see what it is all about.

NORs and other information can be found at our website:

2. Ryan Visser 5.5Uni with 9 points
3. Matt Hein/Aaron N6.0 10 points

F17
1. Mark Batchelor 13 points (last first place)
2. Bill Gillespie 13 points
3. Mike Wizniewski 16 points
4. Andy Kursch 17 points
5. Roger Cochran 18 points

F18
1. Dave/Andy Stiemsma Tiger 8 points
2. David/Austin Lee Tiger 12 points
3. Ed/Tara Cunningham NF18 15 points
4. Jim Egerdal/Ella NF18 18 points
