I have a vinyl shop and have had no luck trying to source that dacron tape from anywhere other than sailrite (but our digital equipment can cut it). You can sometimes get vinyl to adhere reasonably well to new (clean) dacron but it's durability is suspect. Obviously, the mylar based pentex, ect. sail fabrics receive vinyl graphics well.

That's cool - doing sails and stuff with a small format cutter is a PITA (I know this all too well!). We're building a new studio/loft to move our business into and probably moving more into larg(er) format printing (gotta get the building built first). We've always had Roland equipment. I've got two Roland print/cut machines now and one of them I've had since 1998 - it's still going like a champ.
