Anybody got suggestions for best way/position (and type/brand) of footstraps to mount on my Auscat Flyer? Never found a need for them in bouy racing but last year did a distance race and in a deep reach in confused seas it was not pretty! I know I'm getting old but I at least don't want to look like it!!

Thanks!
Kirt

Get the dakine straps, probably in the online store here ,if not Rick Bliss/New England Catamarans has them. Just put them where your back foot was in the snotty stuff. Helps if you can reach the backside of the hull for washers and locknuts, if not you'll have to put in a threaded insert or plug or something to hold the screws.Seal the hole with 5200.
