I have four rows of tell tales on my jib. Situation is upwind, wind is medium and tell tales in mainsail are streaming. Jibsheet is hard on. Lowest tell tale at the windside is streaming and at leeside on and off stalling. The rest of tell tales at the leeside are streaming but all tell tales at windside are stream upwards. The leach of the jib is nearly touching my spreader (mastrotation at shroud). Is this wrong and what can be done about it? More downhaul of the jib?

Can you move the sheeting point back a touch? Barberhauler out just slightly? I'm not exactly the worlds leading expert, buit that is what I'd try first...

Moving the sheeting point back will make it worse, the bottom of the jib is over sheeted. If you can adjust the lead move it fwd an inch. Or if you have multiple holes on the clew of the jib try going up one hole.

Agree with moving forward on your jibleads.. or different hole on your clewplate.

also.. 4 rows? typically you have 2 tale's per side... it doesn't hurt to have more.. but you may not be able to get all to "play nice" if you can't control your jib leads/ jib is stretched.. etc

I always like to have the jib set so that the top telltales break 1st ie. slightly twisted open at the top. Which is how yours is set.
The fact that you are sheeting hard to get to this point, and you don't have the option of tightening the leech, would indicate that that either;
Jib blocks are too far back
jib is mounted too low on forestay
Jib is mullered - get a decent one!

In practice I always just try and see what happens... I'm not quite at the "Makes intuitive adjustments correctly" level myself...
