I don't remember the suggested sheet lengths off the top of my head, but I'll measure mine when i get the chance.
I would use the same length jib sheet with or without roller-furling. Do you have windward cleating?
Frank and Rhoda can cut you sheets. They use a Marlow (I believe) line that has a firm, fuzzy cover with a good hand. My own personal preference is Samson Trophy Braid. It is reasonably priced and has a soft, nubbly cover that is easy to hold. There are other, higher-tech lines available, but good old polyester works well for me. I think the whole low-stretch issue is overblown.
I use 5/16" line for both jib and main sheets, but I have a 7:1 purchase on my main. For 4:1 purchase, you'll probably want 3/8".
If you're looking for an inexpensive solution, I have spools of Sterns double-braid polyester in white with blue, green, or red tracer that will work. I don't like it myself because it is a little slick and can snag. I have other lines as well. Drop me a line and I can go over options.
Whatever you decide, don't buy Sta-Set or XLS. They are too slippery.

Eric
