I saw the guy who owns it and asked him what was up. He comes by almost every weekend with the dog and girlfriend, but just leaves the boat there. It's not just sitting there, the mast is laying in the sand, the trailer has two flat tires and the boat itself is completely derigged. He makes The sailors who sail there look bad. what do I do? If I haul it to the parking lot it will be towed but I may be responible. The trailer isn't roadworthy so nobody can really move it. What do I do? Have a really concerned talk with him next time?

Perhaps you could offer to help him sell the boat with your connections in the catamaran community? Is it worth anything?

its an older p18 with very solid yellow hulls. I explained to him he could easily part it out on the internet.

shoooot - that's marketable. I would offer to sell it for him...perhaps even for a small fee!

Donate it to our youth fleet in SEACATS.
AJ Ross is our youth commodore, he would certainly put it to good use. AJ isnt old enough to drive yet, but we would come get the boat and haul it away for him.

Well if he's on the donation path, our sailing club at NC State needs a catamaran to broaden the horizons of our club members.

Tax deductible
