I thought it was an interesting list and worth posting. It remains to see how many that actually race.

Anybody knows what is up with the ITA website? Every time I try to go to the "main website" my browser stop working. Reproduced on two different computers and different browsers so I am beginning to wonder if it is the website? http://www.tornado-class.org

ITA website works fine here (Vista+FF 3.5.2).
39 entries, looks like a nice fleet size.

It looks like it is something to do with flash on my installations. What version of Flash do you have? I have 10.0.32.18 which produces a crash on several computers under both FF and IE. Mmm, why on earth do I have a Flash plugin for Active X and a regular one..

39 entries is good. If the class was still olympic we could probably have added 10-20 more. I just hope everybody on the list really shows up. Would be really good if the big guns on the list continued to support the class.

I'm still on Flash 10.0.2.54.
The Worlds is on the same weekend as the VX40 event in Kiel, some T sailors will probably go there instead.

that website (ITA) made my browser crash too

According to one of the letters on www.tornado-class.org, the web master on Tornado.org hasn't been making any updates since October. It looks like several of the memebers started a new site that will likely be adopted as the official class website at the annual meeting.

I tried finding any results on the event website, but no success.

Event started yesterday so there should at least be some starts.

One of the UK guys that has gone there has posted elsewhere that racing doesn't start until the 31st. So, don't dispair, all is not lost!

Great to hear they and other top teams are there...39 teams on the entry list. Not bad for the newest addition to the Dead Boat Society.

Day 2 - two more bullets for Bundock and Ashby (celebrating his birthday). Winds were light - 6-8 knots

I now too have been blessed by the wonders of Adobe Flash automatic upgrade:


An AdBlock filter makes a nice workaround though (http://www.tornado-class.org/*/*.swf).
