Hi Everybody,
Has anybody already try the 2 solutions for mainsheet control ?
When you sail the "Wild Thing" with pretty good wind, sometimes, you have to release the mainsheet, but when you want to tighten it again, unfortunatly, the bearing ball circular track comes upwind much easier than tension on the pulley block.
That is why I imagined that the Australian solution with one winch pulley on the trampoline, and another one at mid-boom could address the above-mentionned problem.
The points are:
Is there anygolden rule to be met for :
1-the pulley position on the boom
2-the winch-pulley position on the tramp ?
3-Which kind of reinforcements must be done on the tramp ?

Thanks in advance

Erwan
