Hi,
What is a good set up for a Hobie 16 righting line? I'm looking for low cost if possible. Are there pics on how to set one up anywhere?
thanks,
Ron

Try this link for the Hobie catalog pictures of two systems. http://www.hobiecat.com/media/pdf/eSail_2009-10_18-21.pdf

Rick sells the Hawaiian system in his online store

Tie a large diameter (1/2 inch+) line to your main beam near the mast base. Tie some strategically placed knots to help with gripping. Make sure it's long enough to reach the lower hull when flung over the upper one. Stuff it in a tramp bag if you don't have a tramp pocket (accessible from underneath tramp is nice). Cheap, easy, reliable.
