Guys,
Setting up a 5.0 and can't find any base tuning guides online.
Any help with the following would be great:
Diamond wire tension
Mast rake

Thanks

This is what I do for tension and mast rake, others may do differently. My sails are old so that probably makes a difference too. I keep my diamond wires fairly tight, make sure the mast looks straight. I think I had read somewhere you should be able to press the wires to the mast 6 inches above the turnbuckle but mine are a little tighter than that. I carry much less rake compared to a hobie 16, I am usually three to four holes down on the front adjuster but this will vary between boats.

Keep in mind that whether you have straight spreaders or raked back spreaders makes a huge difference in you you tune the diamond wire tension.
