Posts: 75 Jensen Beach, FL | Why not do away with the boom and make it a little higher (not the weed) inside? Mount the main halyard to the upper mainsheet block, raise it as high as you want and then run a rope from the mainsheet blocks to the mast. Makes a picture perfect tent. I have done this and it works very well. AJ Nacra 6.0 Express | | | Re: Anyone tried this?

Posts: 3,114 BANNED | Actually, I was going to take the wings and put them on like I was trailering the boat, and then drape the tarp over that. I don't have a tent, so thats not an option I'll be living in my wetsuit though... I plan on being wet the whole time I'm there. | | | Re: Anyone tried this?

Posts: 5,558 Key Largo, FL & Put-in-Bay, OH... | Maughan, If you are going to be living in your wet suit and plan to be wet the whole time, why even bother with a tarp? Just some motherly advice here -- do not leave that wetsuit on any longer than necessary, or your skin will rot and fall off your bones. | | | Re: Anyone tried this?

Posts: 12,310 South Carolina | hey...that's a great idea! Thanks - I've been planning to rig some PVC tubing or something for a tarp but the mainsheet / string idea is great for us boomless cats.
