It's done. No racing today, conditions are ideal. Not sure why they stayed on the beach.

The last image of the results posted yesterday in this thread should be it. I didn't hear what happened with the protest.

Thank Mr. Shafer he's been the one feeding me the info.

And thanks for the good wishes, Kathy and I are really looking forward to it.

When RC called racing for today at 11:00 the winds were light/variable with thunderheads all about. Not trying to rationalize where it's not due, but I guess you reach a point where you either take folks out on the water that could wind up with an "I told you so", or make them sit and wait more instead of letting them break down and prepare for their journeys at a leisurely pace. Winds have picked up into the teens at this time though, so.

If the referenced protest is Kirk's redress, he and Glenn got all 4 races Monday redressed, which moved them up to 4th overall just ahead of Chris and I. That was the only change to the previously posted snap shot of the scores from last night.

Safe travels to all who made the journey, and see ya next year in Racine. Now let's jump over to the AC thread and get ready for some good action there!

Hey Ken, It's Team Corona, not banana boat. I don't call Kani Basami the flying scissor mutant! :P

The winds challenged the sailors all week with directional changes and especially finding the best way to A mark when it was tucked up inside the soutwest corner of the bay. This venue always promises to make the sailors work for the hardware! A special thanks to the FWYC for their gracious support of yet another North American multihull championship. These folks always know how to put on a great show. I wish everyone a safe journey home.
