Does anyone know what's wrong with the AHPC web site? Everytime I try to go to their site, I get a "Cannot find server" error. I even try linking to their page from the Taipan Catamaran Association of Australia web site with the same results. I can get to the association's site but not the AHPC site.

Well, I tried getting to the AHPC site again and now it's back. Is anyone else having occasional problems reaching the AHPC site? I remember reading a posting a few weeks ago of someone else who was having the same problem.

Just tired to reach AHPC again and their site appears to be out again. I've been trying to contact anyone at AHPC to get a status on some parts I ordered for my boat but no one seems to be answering the company's E-mail. Maybe they are all on holiday. Has anyone had any successful correspondance with them lately? Who should I be directing my inquires to at AHPC?

I have just telephoned AHPC and they know of no problems with their web site. I have had no problems accessing it either. I have however had the odd problem in my internet cafe lately accessing sites outside of Australia. The problem may be reciprocal.

I asked them about your emails and they have received them (it?) and Andrew either has just or is about to send you a reply.

I have found there can be delays with emails from AHPC as they are occasionally slower to answer than you might expect.

I have regular contact with AHPC by phone. This seems to be the way to go for quick answers. Both Helen, Greg, Andrew and all are always very helpfull. As I'm making my calls in the evenings, my intercontinental phone costs are surprisingly low too. I never have problems with their website. But then I know from head and haven't been there since a week of three.

I finally received a response from AHPC regarding the status of some parts I had ordered. They have been shipped and I expect to see them in a couple of weeks. I'm glad the parts I ordered are for boat improvements and not to fix something that's broken. I don't think I would have been as patient waiting 7 weeks to get the boat back on the water if it was broken.

As far as the AHPC web site goes, if no one else is having problem reaching the site, I guess it's not a problem.
