I'm running late with winter repairs (as usual) and may not have the girl water-tight for the cat champs. If anyone wants to sail Sloop Rigged with a 95kg crew (perfect weight for the usual conditions ) with a bit of local knowledge, give me a yell.

Jake has Tennis on the Saturday of the Cat Champs so I may be in need of a crew (though cat rig is good!)But I am thinking that 171 kg on the Toy might strain things a bit!

Think how fast we'd go in 20-25 with all that weight hanging off the side!! Be a good chance to see if any of the rig needs replacing

On a more serious note... I'm still hopeful of being ready. Should have the important stuff done and I'll leave the cosmetics for after.

Mind you, if it blows, we might have some fun sloop rigged

Dusted boat off yesterday in 20 - 25 knots at Cleveland in racing, wow was I rusty. Sailed crap but was good to get out.

Could have used some of that weight yesterday.

Will have the kite as well at champs.

Do you mean the McRae regatta in a couple of weeks? If so ... WOW! That's a lot of driving for a weekend's sailing.

Good news is that I managed to arrange the McCrae weekend off.

Bad news is that I'll be plastering the extension at home. (Only weekend assistance is available.)
