Hi, Rob,
Where ya' been, homeboy? This French boat has been around for a few years.
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/terrasse.web/hydroptere1024.htmlMy Rave does the same thing but on a much, much smaller scale. We had a great time
this past Saturday at the end of Hwy. 528 just south of Cape Canaveral. The afternoon
was a great one for a long flight down by the bridge near Cocoa. I could only get it up
25mph due to some tinkering I did during the winter and it still needs some fine tuning.
Dr. Sam Bradfield in Melbourne, FL has a giant version of the Rave foiler co-designed
by Nigel Irens. Check this site:
http://www.multihulltechnologies.com/album-scat.html Relatedly, the most exciting multihull racing these days these is by the big French trimarans,
I think. (Sorry, I'm not going to call them "Freedom" trimarans.)
