Well, Kate, if this is you....I would like a nice spray top. Sailing in April sucks, but that seems to be when the wind is the best.

Ryan - H16 I prefer to go sailing because baseball, football, tennis, and golf only require 1 ball!

What he probably really wants is you wearing nothing but a bow.

Having said that he will also get very excited about..

a Velocitec or similar GPS/ digital speedo.
some racing sunglasses
A new lifejacket
A gift voucher for his prefered supplier.
A drysuit
Or you could suggest he orders himself a new sail.

It really all depends on your budget.

Does he race or casual sail? What does he sail? What kind of budget? East Coast, West Coast, North or South?

What is your budget? A dry suit will always go over nice at Christmas time.

Seeing as how you are his wife and all, and you made it to this forum where the truth always get gets out... maybe he needs to get rid of his old tramp? Maybe get a new one if you are okay with that sort of arrangement.
Seriously my own trampOLINE is busted so i'll be making a new one over the winter. There'always some part of a cat that needs replacement soon, that would probably make a nice gift.

Sailbox? Aluminum trailer is over your budget unless you can find one used.

I need to add a large garden type pump sprayer, for washing off the boat and myself. If you leave it in the sun it's warm enough to shower.

New sail - $2000
new sheets - $500
permission to sail anytime he wants (without repercussions) - priceless

He has a nacra 20 and a bimare 18ht... and now he probably knows who this is but that's ok...

And he can sail whenever he wants. I encourage it because that keeps him happy. Isn't he a lucky guy? smile

Genius! I've gotten more out of two training camps with Robbie, than I have out of any piece of go fast equipment.

None of us think about safety enough (if at all). You might look at things like knives, radios, epirbs. Oh! Pfd!

My guess is he didn't really do his homework on those items. An unusual source, but you might look here.

I like their rash guards. My wife calls them leotards.
