First:
Especial kudos to Jay Klassen, Commodore of the Coast Cat Club, who worked extremely hard all weekend to coordinate everything, shorthanded due to some very sad circumstances.
Thanks to EVERYONE who attended and for the most part (hee hee) patiently bore with our struggles in scoring the event. Open class racing is never easy to score and it's always a work in progress.
We can't control the weather but it worked out for us, we were certainly blessed. But we did control the party and I'm hoping everyone had a great time and not too much headache on Sunday morning after the jelo shots.
The Coast Catamaran Club thanks Ocean Springs Yacht Club's membership for their help, including Dennis Furey and clan, Larry Platt and clan, David Beale, Duke Sutherland, Pat Meck, Ron Rivard and clan, David Hanisko, Rob Halstead, and if I'm leaving out names, don't think the CCC isn't grateful, just tired ;-)
THANKS VERY MUCH to all 44 boats and their crews who attended, and we certainly hope to see you next year. It's the racers who make the event possible.
thanks,
tami

SECOND:
As soon as Jay gets home from work, I'll try to get the results from off his laptop, which is at work with him. We are definitely interested in sending our results to Darline Hobock an'em at the Portsmouth, for we believe in open class racing and inclusivity, it's what the CCC is all about.
THIRD:
Coast Catamaran Club doesn't have a website, but we did publish press releases, put an ad in Catamaran Sailor mag, and posted numerous times in the CS webpages a.w.a the Beachcats site.
Again, thanks,
tami
