Who is doing what this year?

I'm planning:

Tradewinds
F16 Nationals
Kelly Park
Daytona
Wildcat
Area D south
Carlisle

Almost forgot, GYC is having a big regatta in the fall.

Spring Fever
Macho Man (maybe), I'll have to find my big boy pants
Mug Race
Kelly Park
RTI
NAF18 National Championship
Gilligans
Wildcat
Area D south
Carlisle - this one might be a bit iffy, depends on what the club does.
Hirams - I can't believe I forgot that one... must bring camera.
Steeplechase

Carlisle is a local regatta at Clearwater, just north of GYC.

But that will be my list (none) unless there is another BoB Barton Race for cancer... as i do that one to support Bob.. and not for any other reason.

I may sneak in a few depending on how many nice things I do for the spouse. Hiram's is always a spouse pleaser because of the location and all the cool people that show up. T-winds is another.... Gotta get my 'street cred' back up so people might want me for crew beyotch.

Can you find a crew and come up to Punta Gorda and sail my Hobie 16 at the charlotte Harbor Regatta? I am doing mark boat duty and it is available.

The hotshots from up north are getting registered and we need some Florida folk to welcome them.

Pete, or anyone. I am sure they did not mean to be exclusive. Keep in mind this is mainly a monohull regatta. They are simply reaching out to see if there is any interest in cats.

My guess is if you contacted the Chairman, Brian Gleason, he would invite your boat and your fleet as well. briangleason (at) charlotteharborregatta.com or 941-206-1133.

The Weta was probably invited because there is probably a fleet nearby or within the group.., and they know there are Hobie 16s around.
