I thought Beth was supposed to propose to Karl.
Congrats to the happy(for now shocked ) couple.

Beth is a very good sailor in her own right. I think they met sailing Melges 24s maybe.

IF I have the story right Karl went from I20 to F18 because it was a better fit for them.

They did Steeplechase together and I keep bugging her to write it up for the magazine.

Mary, get after her.

For now, I am the skipper, but my i am fully aware of my place in the chain of command! grin

Special thanks to the Ingrams for taking care of the boat on Friday, Gina McDonald for organizing the troops for the party, and to Craig Willuz (sp?) for the impromtu photos.

And of course to Beth for saying yes. I love you Baby!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if we've met, but congratulations.

I've been married to my first wife for 14 years now!

Any sailor who's stupid enough NOT to marry someone he met while sailing gets no sympathy from me. BUT, even if your blissful marriage STARTED that way, once kids enter the picture, that's no longer a get-out-of-jail-free card...

I suppose that's better than, "Wife #2, meet Wife #1." But not by much, especially if Divorce #1 hasn't happened yet...

All kidding aside, congrats to the cat-sailing couple, we need more of them!

Mike
