Posts: 88 Rye, Melb, Vic, Australia | It's a Taipan on a tight reach. Not true? I should fess up that according to the guy who took the video it is the Lemon Peel with me in full flight . Thankfully, it was after the finish while I was practicing (see results for details :)).

Unregistered | Hey,
great video, had to watch it over and over again. Should rename Lemon Peel to Sling Shot or maybe Banana Peel. | | | Re: Racing At Sugarloaf

Posts: 88 Rye, Melb, Vic, Australia | Interesting arrangement of divisions 1 2 and 3 Bill. What does it mean? I thought I should check the sailing instructions to get the correct meaning of the divisions where I found: 3.4 Divisions All boats shall be divided into divisions as determined by the Executive Committee upon consideration of the Sailing Committee's recommendation. Hmmmm. What it roughly means is that if you look at the yardstick results across the season, the top third are in division 1, the middle third are in division 2 and the rest are in division 3. I really enjoy this as you are competing against people of a similar skill level within your division. While the club yardstick results show the large picture, the division results give you competition you can win.
