I'm wondering if anyone has used a main cut for the carbon mast on their SW mast. I had this arrangement before I was hurled like a human cannon ball through my main at the nationals last October. It seemed difficult to raise and lower and the shape always seemed slightly off near the foot. Or I guess I could try trading the SW for a Carbon mast, if that's possible. Any dieas are welcome.

NM,
Folks have done it but the results aren't there (it's not a good fit). The sail's luff curve doesn't match the alum mast leaving a sail that will not perform the best. The alum mast sail is the perfect match and the carbon sail is the match for the carbon mast. The shapes are a bit different to for matching the masts. In other words, a sail that matches the mast will perform better and last longer than a sail trying to fit on a mast. I have what you need; pm or email for details.
