As it took me a good half an hour and a big rubber mallet to remove the rudders stock from my boat I'm looking for straight replacement rudder pins to replace the bend ones I have.

Anybody knows a source for those? Apparently RWO makes some, but I'm not sure they are the right one: mine have two holes for rings to lock it in place, and I can't see any holes on that one...

There is a hole at the bottom of that pin - however when the pin is in on my stocks, you can't see the hole to put a pin through as it's inside the lower gudgeon. I took them back to the chandlery and instead got a local engineer to make up two new pins to my own spec. I think he charged me a tenner in all.

My boat has the same pins that are on marstrom Tornado rudders (I Think that is what John P said whe I picked the boat up).

I had the same problem as you Pepin. So I replaced the bottom gudgeon with an ordinary pintle making sure it was the same make so the fixing holes lined up. Then I cut the long bent pintle just below the top gudgeon. For some reason the pre drilled hole for the retaining "O" ring was placed just below the top gudgeon so there was no need to drill another hole. However, with the right sized bit and plenty of lubricant and patience drilling a new hole is possible.
After this refurb I don't remember having any further problems removing the the rudder cassettes on Stealth 516
