It would be great to see a bunch of F16s at this event. I know of several who are planning to come. Excellent location and FWYC always puts on great events. Choctawhatchee Bay in May is near perfect sailing.

FWYC will be hosting the catAtac regatta May 15-16.

Reg Form - http://www.fwyc.org/regattas2010/acat/acatregform.pdf

ALL beach cats are welcome. Two classes planned for: A-Class Cat and Open Portsmouth Multihull.

A post on the main forum is asking for a roll call. Also, pre-registration will insure you get shirts (so they know how many to buy). I believe it is a nice rash guard.

So far, there are 5 F16's registered!

I know that there could be a couple of more in the area....

I say we try not to pitchpole bud. Sounds scary on that big boat. smile I might die this time. We'd probably be going like 5 knots faster too if we were able to pitchpole it. That would hurt. smirk

Unfortuantly no picthpole was seen (think Taylor was taking it easy on Matthew) but they were really fast. Great looking boat. The F16s had some great racing with both 2up and 1 up fighting for the top f16 spot. Really was a good wind to see that both setups are very equal.
Good luck to Talyor and Matthew in the up coming ACs. But after that you guys need to bring the viper back out. Sail the boat you are internet video famous on.

Thanks Jody. That was fun Racing. Yea, we will probably sail whichever boat has a better fleet at the regattas we go to. The F16 class will always be number one in my heart though. Plus the youth nationals next year is on F16's. smile

I've heard that next year's youth nationals will be on Viper's in June at ABYC in Long Beach. Taylor and I won the open class in the 18, and Jody & Joanna got second. I believe Andy & Michael got third, but it may have been one of the 20's. I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure Bob and Randy were up top in the A class. There was 6 F16's there. Good regatta.
