Posts: 308 Reno NV | I hope it does.Sounds like it all ready has in EU. I'd just like to see a little more promotion in the US. Jack told me,a good while back, that the boat was not going to be on the US market. It appears that it is.
Maybe the Euro vs. Dollar exchange rate changed Jack's mind. | | | Re: Nacra F20

Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won't expect it back.

Posts: 4,118 Northfield Mn | There was a hull and board at the Racine event. What was there was very cool. I wouldn't say no to taking it for a spin.
I'm boatless.

Posts: 2,584 +31NL | According to the Texel Rating the F20 Carbon weights 165KGs (363lbs). There was a long awaited race a few weeks ago where the F20Carbon raced against some M20-GTIs. The M20s got beat pretty bad, despite the crew skills being quite equal. http://www.hwsv.nl/portal/content/view/255/57/ | | | Re: Nacra F20

Posts: 329 Chicago, Illinois USA | I need to learn to sail the F16 first!
I wasn't all that interested at first, but then I walked over and picked up the hull with one hand and that got my attention. Some day that technology will trickle down so a duffer like me can afford it. May extend my sailing life.

Unregistered | Well, I guess I can come out and say it. I've started negotiations with the war department to inquire as to possibilities of perhaps finding one of these in my boat lot.
Initial approach didn't work, but alternate avenues of negotiation might prove fruitful. good luck. when you "claim victory" .. let me know if you need crew ever.. i would drive over to ride that.... hell i would jog over to ride one | | | Re: Nacra F20

Posts: 833 St. Louis, MO, | I helped load it in the trailer in Racine. It was impressively light. After loading a few F18 hulls it felt like close to half the weight. I'm sure it wasn't half. If I had to guess if the f18 hulls weigh in at about 100 I'd say it's like 60. Just a WAG.
I'm happy to see Performance still pushing the envelope. I'm not sure what Performance had in mind when they built it. I'd guess as an all out production distance racer at 20 feet.
