Am I reading this right? Your class was decided by the final race? What was the margin?

Yes, on the Taipan. We really had very close competition. Everyone had the lead at one point or another. As I look at the results, Kris and I must have been tied going into the last race. The final margin between first and second was 1 point.

John was doing well but OCS on the last 2 races, which really hurt his final score.

Colin and Fan (the only double-handed boat)could not race due to problems with their boat.

For anyone thinking about doing this race next year...don't think twice, just do it. It is a great venue: lot's of space for camping, a swimming pool, nice people, and of course an excellent racing area with little powerboat traffic.
