The pictures were taken last week. Tooling was acquired about six months ago. Everything was tossed with the exception of the hull molds. New rudders, daggers, spars and sail plan. Additionally, it no longer has to be assembled to rig and launch. The crossbeams are fixed and telescope from 8' to 11' 6". In a lot of respects, the boat was ahead of it's time. Decent bang for the buck if the price can be kept in the mid teens.

The guy standing up wetting out the glass was in the 33 mold, right? But even a new 21, that's a lot of boat for $17,000!

Three traps, right? ;^)

Hahaha!

Tramp, yes. Traps, no.

That is a Hobie 33 under construction in the pictures as well. There are four versions being built. All share the same hull. The Classic 33, an updated turbo version with new ****, a gentleman's daysailor like the Morris and Alerion and a trailerable cruising version with 6' headroom.

I know for a fact you can purchase the first completed boat for around $36K without sails or trailer. :<)

The H33? That seams like a pretty reasonable price.
