Can someone help me settle an argument?

Does anyone know what is the most popular catamaran in recent years.

To be more specific I am talking about new cat sales.

I am guessing it is probably one of the plastic recreational boats like the Wave.

Opinion is fine but hard facts, like sales figures, would be better.

That is a tough one. I can only go off of what a couple dealers have told me. Hobie Getaways have sold very well the past two years. They can't keep them in stock. Before that Hobie Waves were hot.

I saw a ton of new Hobie 16's at the first regatta of the year.

The IYRU puts out lists every year about the factory sales.
The Hobie 16 is the number 1 in the world
As what I remember the TIGER is number 2.
Then come a couple of F18, I think the NACRA was among them.
The Wave is well down the list.
