I just saw the new issue of the magazine with the reports on the SA and VIC state titles. Great advertising for our class and thanks to all those involved in making it happen.

Nic,
I presume that you are meaning Multihull World, and always good to get advertising and exposure especially thro' winter.

Gary, what are the chances of getting a report on the Sauna Sail so I can try to get this into print too....especially if mossies did well.

Thanks to all.

David,

You could probably combine Gary's reports from the sauna sail thread (Gary M's 50th) with a bit of light editing. wink

There's certainly plenty of photos that would suffice. cool

And the results are available from the VMCA home page or directly from the Latrobe Valley Yacht Club website.

Regards,

Peter

Hi David,

you beat me to it, was going to catch up about the write up I posted as Peter said. Happy for you to work something up with that and the other write up from the website. I have my write up as a word document if you would like that. Should add the "Fat Bommers" results into it as well.

Gary,

Please send thro' whatever you have, Word format being preferred and I will see what I can do with it.......send it back to you before we send it in, as it will have your name on the article,
Becoming good at using other people's names, but all for a good cause.

Suggestions on pics are good too, as I must admit I had a lot of fun choosing the ones for the article on the SA States, and maybe a few embarassed guys out there now too.

Look forward to doing this one too,

Thanks

Gary,
Have the article, thanks and will make a start this week. As for names on articles, Gary, maybe it could be listed as "edited by a crowd"

The magazine gives us now more exposure with the latest article so hope it helps to promote the class and the growth continue..

Maybe it might be time again ( early in the season) to do an entire article for the magazine on the developments, spinnakers, the new hulls, growth of carbon usage in the class etc etc.... and the advantages of a restricted class development, so I look forward to the comments.

Hey David,

all good ideas, we could include the Training Weekend with Glenn Ashby, which could show how progressive and race orientated we are wink.
