I had to google for "lacrosse" to figure out what you were talking about.

I was just inquiring with a colleague as to where it is being held this year. Looks like the rotation will have it back in the US in 2014 but in Denver......which perplexes me because it would closely coincide with the 200th anniversary of the bombardment of Ft. McHenry, the origin of the US's national anthem.

Well, at least the NCAA finals will be in Baltimore again in 2011.

What a mess!!! England is not going to issue visas if the team members do not carry US passports because the US said it will only allow players back into the country if they have passports. Iroquois team members born within the US have been offered US passports but the players refused to carry them because they see the government-issued documents as an attack on their identity. Apparently, the Iroquois have their "own" passports but they do not meet the new "Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative" rules.
