Hi all, The past few days I have had some great fast, fun and pretty wild sailing on Lake Michigan and the boat ('84) has preformed very well. I have only taken a little water over the past few days. The starbord takes about a cup or two more than the port hull but they only take a little anyway. For example today, after some serious heavy sailing with light weight (270 lb.) and much hull flying the boat took about 1.5 cups in the port hull and 3 cups in the starbord hull. I read once that this is pretty standard due to the vents on the pylons but I wonder if it is anything to be concerned about? The hulls are in good condition and have a few scratches and whatnot but nothing overly serious. So, I ask you all how much water do your boats take after such a sail?
Thanks, Orion

Well my boats a 1986 and it takes in a heap when i really give it to her so i would get about 3cups+ but thats only if its above 25knots and with me hiting waves liken nothing else. Its very common and you dont have to worry about it. I still race mine so unless you sink your still going good.
