Check out the attachment. I had a friend of mine out sailing, and he brought his digital camera. I voiced my concern about him dumping it overboard, but he accepted the risk as his own. What a great shot!!! Pretty fun!

Cheers!

It was some kind of Casio, don't know the model. All I know is that if he would have lost it, it was $300 in the drink!

More fun for Tim. I took this one from the judge's raft a few weeks ago. See attachment.

Nice sail on that boat, Tim. Must have been a real cool dude who sold it to you.

I visited Tims' stompin' ground last June...

I believe they were using an ice fishing shanty as the weather mark, sun block is pulling your parka strings a little tighter to cover your face and more than one skipper has protested a port tacking ice flow.

I was up there around White Bear Lake, MN last winter. Talk about nuts! The high was something like 4 degrees farenheit the whole week (but it WAS windy).

When I had to go up to Tim's locale to edit the videos we did together, the temperature never was above zero and I never saw the sun until the airplane broke through the clouds on the way home.
On the other hand, I have sailed and have put on two great sailing seminars at Bald Eagle Lake when the weather was great. Must of found some sort of window there.

I would love to do so, but alas, no one in Europe has ever volunteered to host a seminar. Well, not quite, I did do one in Southampton, UK for Corsair Trimarans a couple of years ago. It was really great.., all but the part of figuring out how to drive on the wrong side of the road.

A few years ago a cat dealer in Israel wanted to do one, but it never geled.
At any rate, if anyone ever wants to have a seminar there, the full information on how to do so is on my website:
http://www.sailingseminars.com and then click on "How to Host..."
Haven't been to Europe since I went to school at the U. of Munich.., and a month of skiing in the Alps in 70s.
Ciao, (a little Euro lingo, there)
Rick

Actually - now it's "Cheers" instead of "Ciao"
