My A-Cat tramp is too slippery. I heard that some F18 sailors are using Surfboard wax on their tramps. Which type do you use (how hard or soft a wax)? Are there any problems with using surboard wax on a tramp?

That stuff looks like someone has sneezed on the boat.

Chuck a hand full of sand on the tramp and rub it around to take the sheen off.

On my surfboard I like sticky bumps warm water, never used it on my Hobies though!

don't do it. Its nice when its wet... but on a black trampoline the sun is going to make it liquid - and then you have a slippery mess on your hands.

Don't ask me how I know.

Get some Comet or Ajax and a brush. Elbow grease a bit and leave it on overnight. Wash off in the morning and you should be good, not great, on the slip. Time will take care of it though.
