So who's got the Falcon F16 here in California--I was paddling last night at Huntington Lake and spied it on the beach but could find the owner. Can I get a ride? Going to do some racing?

So you're coming back into the fold?

Well...... Drag him out to the course and show him how! I'm sure it has a jib. smile It took me a while to get used to the acceleration of the F16! I'll bet he's a little intimidated and frustrated.

I was in the Gulf yesterday when a little shower came through with the attendant gusts and shifts. As you know these boats are spirited and it's easy to get intimidated, so I just went into survival mode and everything was cool. But it took me a little while to learn how...

I was just out practicing today, solo with the spinny and had my GPS on board, got it up to 17.3kts on one spin run.

Great fun, good gusts, only stuffed it to the mast once and didn't flip at all, you should have come over here Pete, supposed to be more of the same tomorrow. Of course the lake was pretty flat, not like the big waves in the ocean when the wind is up, that helped.
