Wouldn't the "non-motorized" stipulation cover the PWCs?

If you want to exclude the PWC's, just put in there "No PWCs"

At the 2007 TheMightyHobie18 North American Championships my boat was wieghed .... 426lbs .... and that is w/o it's Magnum Wings ...

Also you are forgeting the H21's and the larger Supercats which are 21-22ft and all wiegh +500lbs ....

To Dennis: We can not use buried tires over here in the USA as "Sand/Ground Anchors as they are considered "toxis/hazardous material and must be disposed of properly. You can not just throw them in the trash/dumpster either as you will recieve a citation and be fined in most municipalities.

I know how that sounds, but if you try to do something like this in front of their homes and they bitch to City Hall, you'll find yourself out in the cold really quick.

-Are there turtle populations in the area? If so, the turtle people will probably object. Same with the bird people.

I know that I sound like a nay-sayer, but again, this is what I do for a living, and I have seen some really great ideas get shot down for some really silly reasons brought up by 1 or 2 people!

I'm trying not to get too excited but most of those concerns are not valid. When all is said there are two locations here that are nearly perfect for small sail boats. I believe both are world class.

Currently, they are both permitted for catamaran use (there is concern about the trailers, my effort is to prevent revocation of access.) You should come down and take a look. I'll buy beer!

maybe a few miles. Speed max in that area is 35 mph

EDIT. Maybe a bit closer if you can park a trailer at one of the local retailers without the Naples Nazis towing it away...
