I'm looking for a bridle vane adapter like the one listed as a prindle adapter on the following page out of the Murrays catalog:

Murray's Catalog, Page 52

Murray's doesn't have any in stock, and said that they are no longer available. Anyone out there who can help? This is for the standard Hobie 20 bridle connection that goes with the standard Hobie 20 forestay.

Thanks!

Tim J.

Nope, I need the adapter for the standard forestay bridle connection on the 20. The roller furler adapter is readily available.

Thanks,

Tim

TJ,
I got your e-mail,
I have your part. Send me an e-mail on Friday to remind me and I will go out back and get it for you.
I bought a spin and furler so I can part with the adapter.

I've been sailing quite a while now with just 1/4" audio tape, and I think it's helped me not stare at a vane. It was suggested that I get a vane by one of my consistently better competitors, so now I want to give it a try again. I kept breaking the telocat, so thought I'd try the red mylar vane instead. I think it's more sensitive than the telocat, and might be easier to read the angle than it is with the tape.

Call it a crutch - whatever. I like the vane with the pointers set at an angle. It can tell me if a tuning helped the boat point higher and still feel lively.
