Give me an hour and I'll go take some pics of how mine is rigged. Stick isn't up but that don't matter.

Here you go.

At the forestay - the red fleck line is the jib sheet:

Not the most elegant but it gets the job done.

One more thing - when you use the forestay bridle as part of the self-tacker system, you have to fasten the bridle itself to the spin pole somehow, or else when you sheet the jib in hard, the bridle will pull back and mess your jib shape up all to hell.

Would it be better to attach the pulleys to the pole or attach the pole to the bridle?

You could attach the blocks to the pole, but thats putting more holes in an area of the pole thats already under a lot of pre-bend stress.

Also, you'd have to re-run the jib sheet everytime you break the boat down and I'm lazy. Whole system stays rigged on the trailer.

we used to run 2:1 inside the pole.

Mine is set the same but I do see the jib issue. Hadn't considered the bridles adjusting creating the issue. How did you attach the bridle to the pole? I have some eyestraps on the pole at the bridle I use to secure side deflection. I also tension the pole from a rope hoop at the furler. Thanks
