Halloween Regatta "Islander Holiday Get Away Special Series"
Islander Resort Catamaran Sailing; mm 82.1, Florida Keys
The Organizing Authority for this regatta is Islander Watersports and is supported by the Islander Resort and Coconut Grove Sails and Canvas. Concept: This race will combine A-Cat catamarans and one open class for other catamarans; and a possible Wave Class. The A-Cats will be run on a windward – leeward course and the Open Class/Waves will be run on a triangle course to be determined by racers present at registration. The courses will be as shown on SI sketches provided at registration. This Regatta will be combined with a November, after Thanksgiving, weekend Regatta as the Islander Get Away Special Series. Continuation of that series will be determined at the completion of those two regattas, by the interest of the competitors. The Islander rate for these races is $99/night. Reduced rate water sports activvities will be avalable for familes. Entrance fee is $40. Other activities will be determined by interest at registration.
