For those who store their boats outside for the winter, have you ever put Christmas lights on your boat?

Only if it is parked in the front yard with the mast up, the trailer is up on blocks, and I can get a plastic Santa out on the wire screaming Ho Ho Ho with the tiller in one hand and a beer in the other. grin

Kidding aside here is an awesome job of what someone did

Hey, stop talking about Christmas and start cooking that Turkey!

Tomorrow you can start talking about Christmas...

Happy T-day to all of you in the States, I hope you are lucky enough to be home with your family and have a great day.

We rig our 16 up every year. We take it off the trailer. Neighbors love it.
My wife wants to get a palm tree with Christmas lights to put next to it!

Yes, did our H-18 for years then the H-17. Mast up, big star on top and colored lights down, four strings, parked in drive by house.

The 'Cat Alley' group had a cat, with a trapped Santa, and lights, on the roof of a house at many a Christmas party in Houston TX. Maybe someone could post a picture of it?

This is awesome. There seems to be competition between some of the houses on the street to have the best lights display. I'd love to do this with the 20 and blow them all away. Only problem is it might not be possible to avoid the pesky power lines.

For the past 8 years, we decorated our H16 just like that 14, only without a Santa, and left it on the trailer.

My dad called it "the beacon" as in, when he drove up our street, it was really easy to spot our house on account of the ridiculous amount of light towering 30 feet high. The neighbors didn't even bother to try competing. smile

Only problem was the amount of snow and cold we get here. Inevitably, I pick the coldest, wettest weather to set up the lights. Then, it gets too cold and snowy to take it down. I remember taking the lights off one year, and a neighbor walking her dog asked if I was getting ready for Easter (the next day)...

Sadly, we're boatless now, so unless I borrow a boat, I'm just going to have bushes decorated. How boring...
