Hi

I would like to know how to put a nice corporate logo in a spinnaker.

I'm not too fond of vinyl stickers idea in a lightweight spin.

Does anyone know exactly how to do it? I'd even be willing to ship my spi to some specialyzed shop.

Attached picture is of can1 tornado wearing a nice logo spinnaker like I would like.

I have an Inter 17R, and I'm planning on getting a nice big sponsor for the 2003 nationnals in Pensacola this coming October.

Thanks.

Contact Dave Ladurini with Sabre Sails in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. 850-244-0001 I don't believe they actually do the work, but the other day he was talking about a new process and good way to do that, especially for spinnakers. He may be able to help you out.

When Dave Posey still had Posey's Sail I designed a large Palm Tree and sun for my sail. I designed the application in contruction paper. Then we traced it to sticky backed sail cloth. We used three colors and it came out great! We make a 180 degree design so there was an application on each side of the sail that looked like one. I still have the sail and it is just fine.

Hi Phil,

Please see attached photo.

We had a spinnaker made for us with the SEAWIND logo cut into it by Olympic Sails in Sydney, Australia.

The kite is made from silicone coated spinnaker cloth and the logo is also from the same material. The logo was cut out of the kite then the logo was cut out in the appropriate colour material then sewn into place.

It was a little pricey and labour intensive but looks very trick and is also very durable..... worth the money.
