I'm going on up to Gulfport for some 'new crew' training (my kids) for the club race, anyone else coming from out of town? Pete? Terry? I know Matt's busy at the Miami boatshow.

Also, had a neighbor call me last night, he just bought a place on the lake so now he's looking for a backyard beater of a cat, nothing for racing, but someting like a Prindle or Hobie, 16, 17, or 18, around $2000 or less. If you know of any in the Tampa, Orlando, Melborne, or south FL are, please shoot me a PM. Thanks.

Well the whole point for me is I'm putting my 14yr. old daughter on the helm, so...you'd better look out too!

Hey, it could be worse for you, I could let Seth drive.

I've taken up diving ... have my open water dives this weekend ... won't be there.

I do have March 5 on my calendar to do the first GYC club race in march.

Where are you doing the open water dives? The Keys or up in Cocoa? I did mine at Nubble Light, a light house off the coast of York, Maine, 70' deep right off the rocks but over 100' if you went out just a little bit. Zero visability after about 40' though. We did manage to find a few "Lobsta's" though.

Even though it was August and I was wearing a wetsuit, I still froze my azz off! And that was when I was 21, and had thicker blood!

Many years later, the first time I dove in the Keys (Pennekamp park) I thought I had died and gone to dive-heaven! It's like a nice warm swimming pool down there.

Saturday is Alexander Springs and Sunday is Trout River in Dunnellon.

HOWEVER, my dive buddy has an emergency that might postpone the events ... in that case I'll make it over.

Hope to see you there! And you should go up to the Nubble, I hear it's nice this time of year...

Good luck, take pictures! I just found out I'm off March 5 too so I'll try to make it then as well.
