Has anyone repaired or beefed up the area around the crossbeams on their early 90s Hobie 20 hulls. This boat has some cracks in the area. My own boat had a professional repair done before I purchased it years ago. I was told that a hole was cut in the hull to be able to reinforce the area from the inside. Is this the only way to repair it, can it be repaired externally? I don't want to just patch up some visible cracks if the real problem is buried.
