does any one know the weight range for a helm and crew
on the hobie 14.

I'm not sure if you mean minimum practical weight, or the class minimum for racing.

If you mean the latter, you can find them on the US Sailing site

The Hobie 14 is pretty low volume and suseptible to pitch-poling so you should be very carefull when sailing it with too much weight.

I know the optimum weight for the 6 batten sail is 155-165lbs for the skipper only. The 14 is not raced with a "crew". You can sail it with two, however do not exceed 320lbs combined. It will sail poorly but slow enough for a "cooler" sail!

a h15 comes up for sale.
