I have found a great way to wash your mast... LOL

Now I just have to figure out how to put it back together.

If that is the mast for your AHPC how did you get it in black? I have only seen clear anodizing on them. Also...I thought I had gone through most of the documents about assembling the boats. You must have an in with Greg or Brett on how this mast goes together. Share the assembly plans I am sure that everyone would like the convenience of easy storage of a 30 foot mast.

Later,
Dan laugh

Yes, trophies. (Karl is much smarter that he looks). Too much trouble to wash all the pieces, so I just put them in the dishwasher. (Here's yet another advantage to not being married.)

The mast is from Carl Deckard's Infusion and it was broken by John Tomko and Ian Billings during the 2009 Great Texas Catamaran race.

I'm having a regatta logo and the text for the trophies sand blasted on on the side of the mast. I'm glad it was black anodized smile

Why? Being married you could just drop them on the floor and go sailing, your wife would take care of the cleaning, polishing, etc.

If the logo area is flat enough, you don't need sandblasting. Regular laser engraving on anodized aluminum works great.

Eric

It took a while to retrieve it from the back of the trophy case...... smile Here's a look at a finished product.

I used Mast sections of one of my old N6.0na's once.

But saving $, I just wrote the info on the mast sections with a permanent marker!

The etching looks great.
