Chattanooga, TN | Well in mid july I am loading up and getting on I75 and heading south to plant my new roots in Sarasota. One blade will be coming with me and the other one will be staying be handed over to Joanna (the ultimate crew is going to become the ultimate skipper) . I hope to join GYC and start playing there. See you guys down there soon.

Sebring, Florida. | Hey Jody, glad to hear we'll have another F16 in the area! In addition to GYC there is a good club (for mast up storage) right in Sarasota, called the Sarasota Sailing Squadron. Not much activity there for cat racing but it's a great location on the bay. Also, I'm about 85 miles inland, directly east of Sarasota, you can come sail on my lake any time and not have to wash off the salt afterwards!
Karl, you really need to buy a 'winter house' down here in Sebring! Lots of foreclosed stuff right on the lake, one is listed for $129,000 today, 5 years ago it sold for about $425,000!

| Welcome to Florida! Not much action in Sarasota for F16 but Sarasota Sailing Squadron has some F18s and other types.
GYC should be able to accomodate you, you'll be in the middle of their summer season.

Lots of foreclosed stuff right on the lake, one is listed for $129,000 today, 5 years ago it sold for about $425,000! I'm in the process of buying another house right now. Last time it sold, it sold for $128k. I got it for less than $40k. If I had a ton of money I'd be gobbling up all the real estate I could. I've kicked around buying a house down there. I'd like to. Just isn't in the finances right now. Had there not been the pseudo divorce I could probably swing it. I think half of Robbie & Jill's block is for sale right now.
