I think I'd put my boat on Karl's trailer.

I think Karl's trailer would support my car.

I don't think my Suburban has enough power to pull Karl's trailer... smile

With a single boat I've towed it with my four cylinder, GMC Canyon as far as Omaha. It was a little sketchy, and 5th gear was rarely used. Not enough power, suspension, or brakes to really call it safe.

The ultimate plan is to build a sort of collapse-able camper that'll nest under the back boat. Just flip the panels up, toss the roof on, and have a dry 8x8 place to sleep at regatta's. Gotta scrape up the funds for my monster sail box first though.

I'm boatless.

I've already called Livin Lite and they say they will sell these small popup campers without the chassis so that the can be installed on a catamaran trailer... They look really nice.

I've looked at those too. The thought I had was using a pop-up that goes in the back of a pickup on my trailer. Reason being you could slip the hulls where the bed rails of a pickup would normally be. I hadn't pulled any numbers, the floor might be too wide to do it, but might not be a big thing for them to make a narrower floor either.

I'm not sure how I'd tie a rack in then....

or, just do something like this, with the pop-up on the front. Whole reason I went with a flatbed in the first place was so a big butt sail box would protect the bottom boat completely from anything the tow vehicle kicks up.

(edit)- Another thing I've been considering is getting on of the hard side pop up trailers, then just throwing the boat on the roof of that. I've got a feeling those are ridiculously/prohibitively expensive
