Hi all, newbie here. Just bought a 1981 H16 with the original (according to the seller) Magic Tilt trailer. Didn't pick it up yet because I don't have a hitch on the car, so I can't just go out and meausure. Anybody know what the trailer coupler height is so I can order the right hitch parts?

Thanks,
Stu

Best bet is to get a receiver type hitch, where you can change the height of the hitch as needed. You want your boat to sit with the frame level when you are stepping the mast. The mast falls into place alot easier that way. So if your trailering it to launch, it pays to have the right height hitch. It's a matter of trial and error.
