Anybody been using one of these? I killed the last of my 201s this weekend (All died from cracked screens). I'm a little wary of opening battery compartments. I liked that the 201 was sealed and re-chargeable.

I haven't had a chance to play with them yet Todd, but I do know from what I've been told - that they will require the ToddHart Aquaseal (patent pending) modification/enhancement - which could cause issues openning a battery compartment.

My 201 died on the GT300 last year - so I scrounged a 301 off John Casey for the last 2 days. It worked OK. I keep it on the boom so it gets less spray than if it was on my person. I've got similar concerns about the battery compartment - bu so far so good.

I'm still finding new or near new 201s on ebay from time to time.

No problems with the 301. Keep it on the boom or in a bag. It really doesn't fit my wrist.

I've seen a few but they are WAY overpriced.

I plan on wearing it.
Pete, did you get the band extension with the 301? The 201s came with a band extension that made the wrist band go from too short to too long. I reckon Chinese folks have small wrists. You could double it over and sew it and it'd be about right.

No, I didn't even know there was a band extension. In any case, unless I wear it around my forearm, it interfers with my wrist movement.

I fiddled with it for ever and decided either the boom or a water proof bag was the way to go.

I paid less than $100 last time, that seems reasonable.

Oooh, that's great, I've got another one that's not working! Thanks!
